That's what salvage yards are for - - - or what we call in the aircraft
world, an "owner manufactured part". Find a piece of good tubing or replace
it with good hose.
These are the joys of operating old machinery.

I'm getting to fix the magneto switch on the 182, even found the Bendix
overhaul manual for it last night!

So _maybe_ it should be.  I have not gone out to look,
but my memory is at least most of my cars have a iron pipe
about there.   So maybe yours did - and a previous owner did
a non-factory type replacement.  That would sure explain why
you can't find a part number.

Spend the extra money and replace it with a silicon hose of the right size.
It will last as long as you own the car.

Google will take you to suppliers that will sell you the size and length
you need.

Trust me - it's a rubber hose.  I am not a master tech but I do know the
difference between steel and rubber.
