I just love the warm air intakes that the Finns use. Of course, their
summer is about one month long, and feels like May or June in Michigan. 
Still, seeing as how this is probably for a track car, I'd take the air
from outside of the engine compartment if it were my car.

I believe this is taking in air from the hood where the battery is
through the sound wall in a w124 making it a cold intake assuming they
have louvered the hood or something. Who knows. Its crazy stuff.

Calculated horsepower  (unable to measure) oh a Fuel Dragster is 8000.  Life 
expectance is 4.3 seconds, than the pistons melt, often a rod makes a hasty 
exit thru the side of the block.

45 minutes allowed to rebuild and run again, most teams do it in 32 minutes.

My sport {Obviously a spectator} of choice.

Cost?  About $5000 per run, depending on who you listen to and how much you 
want  to win.

If you've never seen a Pro fuel meet, go to a Friday or Sturday qualifing 
session, bring ear plugs!

How many boosted S124s are there? Casey has one, and last I knew Mauri
had one. Seems like Mauri was pulling close to 400hp without major smoke. 
He didn't seem to like the blots out the sun exhaust that some put out.
I'd settle for a light haze, like my friend's stock 2001 Ford makes at
full throttle when I'm following him up a hill.

In the USA, the only one I know of is Casey's.  Mauri had one (I think 
he's moved on? not sure), but he is off in Finland.  There is also the 
green W123 wagon... although I don't think anyone ever got any numbers 
from that.
