Is that the inline six or the v6 diesel?
I'm pretty sure the v6 diesel is not rebuildable.

I was looking at 642 parts which is the v6. I still don't know where you get
the idea they are not rebuildable.

Engine rebuild parts are not available for current diesels according to what
I've heard. So if a valve fails, a piston ring needs replacement etc, you need
a new engine. Why would anyone pay 13K for a car that has 170K miles with an
engine that can't be fixed in the event of a problem?
