My first MB was of the model year 1978, a 300D. I've always wanted some
sort of car from the year of my birth, so since I'm into MB diesels, it
should be a 1972 220D. It could either be a 1972 or 1973 model as long as
it was born in 1972.

Makes me remember how badly I want to find a decent '72 220D to have.
You'll have to fight me for it! =-)

ln = unix command for link. Basically I made a second directory entry to point
to the same cunk of data (until one or the other is modified, then they become
two completely separate files...)

Um, not in Linux.
A plain ln will create a hard-link - that is, two labels
actually no -s, since web servers can take a disliking to symbolic links. These
were hard links

Being a computer doofus, I think it's cool how yous guys can turn almost any

That was cool but it needs some subtitles (if the narrator was speaking
English it probably would have been half as long). I liked the offroad
and crash test sequences.

Old timers will like this little video.
Love that clip. Have watched it several times. The crash sequences look like it
stands up pretty well.

Lotsa body roll tho. (The newer ones hardly roll at all. I have a couple of
photos of Laura driving Frantz on the skidpad recently. I dunno the speed she
was at (I didn't look at the speedo when I was driving.), but I know it set off
