-face mistakes. I have tools to rapidly compute ECM group orders specifically for Richard Crandall's ECM curve parameterization you use. Just send me a list (or .txt attachment) containing any (prime factor, sigma) pairs you are interested in. Regards Alan Powell At 11:45 PM 11/8/02, you

38917 is required and during stage 2 the block of primes for B2 >= 534241 happens to include the largest factor 535489. Regards Alan Powell At 02:17 PM 11/10/02, you wrote: >Here's one example: > >With sigma=1459848859275459, Prime95 v22.12 finds the factor >77728843

Mersenne: prime95 & fans & slaying cpus

running my laptop 24/7 like a desktop. The fan unit slid into and was powered by the lower of my two PCMCIA slots. While running Prime95 with the fan running the case was barely warm to the touch. These PCMCIA fans used to cost around $35 from Micro Center or CompUSA. Regards Alan Powell

Hi Jeroen According to the Cunningham tables: 2^101-1 = 7432339208719 * 341117531003194129 2^101+1 = 3 * 845100400152152934331135470251 Are you sure you did not select the "+1" option by mistake ? Regards Alan Powell At 06:30 AM 5/25/01, you wrote: >Stage 1 complete. 25964568

ep my short cut under Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools. I find it quite invaluable in investigating these type of situations. You can fire it up in a few second to investigate some anomalous behaviour or leave it running in the background continuously where it consumes about 0.5%
