Hi Bob,
I think an extremely good book on the subject of hunting (talks about many aspects of
the hunt so you know a bit about how to go about it) is Harvey Nininger's book Find a
Falling Star. It also inspires you so much that you want to go hunting for meteorites.
It is an extremely good book

Hi Anne,
I have seen some AMAZING stuff done with a Nikon. I have also

Dear Michael and List:
The Nikon digital cameras do burn batteries quickly if you leave the
LCD viewer on (you can choose to shoot without it). If you
Hello Michael and list,
The Nikon does burn through some batteries. Four top of the line batteries
will last about two or three hours. Faster if you use the video screen.
Rechargable batteries work great and seem to last even longer. I have three

Hello everyone, I have just received an old

Hi Michael and list,
With digital cameras it's best to use NiMh's, I have a Kodak DC-240 I
use (need to get the close up lens for it for meteorites though) and
when I first got it I used the alkalines. I'm lucky if I got 10 pictures
off before they died. Switched to NiMhs and what a
