or impact hole, whichever you prefer. I suppose it depends on how loose or
damp the soil is where it fell. In either case, the 10 kilo mass will have

I am surprised by the newspaper report, mentioning an 8 Kg stone causing a 2
meter DEEP crater!
Could this be a somewhat exagerated newspaper report?
