would be adequate.

Hello List,
a few auctions of me are ending soon, if you are interested take a look.
I have:
A beautiful Brahin with bigger parts of Metal, etched, this one shows a
nice
pattern of kamacite needles. It's a very stable piece, i had it long
time in my own
collection, no rust.
Could be a large mill ball brought from the ball mills used for grinding
ore in the western US. I have seen them up to 6 inches. Would have some
nickel in it as a mill ball. Very tough to cut as well as I have cut
and polished a mill ball, will wear out the equipment fast.

Dear List Members,
I would like to introduce the coolest meteorite I have seem in a VERY long

the Day). I originally purchased it thinking it was lunar, and to be
honest, I was hoping there was a mistake because it is

Hi All...
Greg showed me this meteorite at the Denver show. It is one of the most

Hi, Dave, List,
I'm fairly sure what you have there is a MILL BALL.
Mill Balls are the grinding media used in Ball Mills (well,
that's logical). A Ball Mill is a large, tilted, slightly tapered
cyclinder rotated with a load of mill balls and a continuous
imput of rock ore to be crushed, often
Hi,
For anyone who wants a preview peek over the rim
of the Victoria Crater, there is an animated model of the
Victoria Crater, which is viewable in a movie that
rotates in a circle around the crater, constructed by
the USGS from elevation data derived from MOC
images.
It can be downloaded
Dear List,
Thank you for the great response to my earlier
offering of NWA 2968. There are now less than 30
grams of this material available. IF you missed out
on the first offering you might consider contacting me
before it is sold out. This is the only mantle
derived Dunite of 4 Vesta known.
Looks curious enough - I'm pretty sure that no cannonball ever weighed
close
to 110 lbs.
However, the shape, the shape...it appears to be man made to me, but I
just
don't see any real use for such a ball of iron.
Analysis!

Jason

Hi all
This phenomena of cosmic ray alteration of isotope
concentration has been known to me for a long while.
As solar activity increases, it deflects the cosmic
rays which reduces the effect of cosmic rays.
On earth, one of it's best effects is altering the
