Hi Folks here is one of my late Aug meteorite hunting locations. I found it
quite hard to keep my eyes looking down when hunting .Found lots of black
rocks but no Meteorites . This is truly the most amazing lake bed in the
world for 7 days 7 nights.
while talking with the train engineer where I work he mentioned seeing 6
meteors falling in procession wedensday night between 1 and 3am central time.
He had never seen more than two fall at the same time before. In order to see
them from the train thay had to be relatively low in the western
Aloha mai, I have new material to introduce:
NWA 6386 - a moderately shocked diogenite cataclastic breccia with closely
packed clasts. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful and intriguing
diogenite meteorites around, and its dense hardness allows a mirror polish on
