Hello list
I wonder if anyone knows of work done on modeling the effects of a
meteoritic impact over a previous crater.
I suppose such work could shed some light on the features we see in
images from the Moon and Vesta, for instance.

Hi Mike,
well, it is obviously not the best video in which you see an actual meteor
falling, but
I like it because it is funny and unusual, a 'surveillance video' of a very
special kind,
quirky and bizarre, with a touch of 'Blair Witch Project' in it.
Something one doesn't forget! ;-)

One of my faves (having lived in Austin for many years) is ash creek. I
remember the news reporters saying it was man-made space debris.

Hallo Martin, Listees;
The offering of food in the video shows the extent of the hospitality
of the Bavarians. Anyone aboard the meteoroid could feast after their
long voyage ;-), what self-respecting meteoroid wouldn't touch down for
a feast at a magically enchanting castle.

That video was using some sort of trail/bush camera.
Gives me some ideas of using them as an all sky network.
The reliability, battery life and weatherproofing on them is incredible.
Why not?
Thanks for bringing the video to our attention.
