I am one million percent sure this is not 869. I over 10 kilos of 869 and it
is definitely not it. The crust on this stone is so much more black, thick,

First, let me state that I am not trying to throw more coal on this fire... I
have a question for the people at the auction. I purchased Lixna Lot 70 for
$500. I know for fact that the other bidder was absentee bidder Peter Marmet
and his max bid was $450.
In Lang's auction terms it states:
absentee bids that were higher than the in-person bids because Lang wanted
to complete those lots after the auction (in order to speed things up).

I have been thinking the same thing Mike, but have been hesitant to post
anything with the fear of starting another flame war. It seems that some

Crust on irons...most definitely! This Sikhote has THICK crust in some of
the regmaglypts. Thick enough that you can chip it off. It's like Blued Gun
Metal.
