The H.H.Nininger Collection of Meteorites (1933 version) lists a
meteorite that I find no where else in the literature. It'll be obvious
to many on the list why I would like to know about this.

Hi Desmond and list,
Yes, diluted (5% or less) ferric tri-cloride ( Fe Cl 3 ) works
well. I used it for many years for some art work (etching cupper plates)
and I also used it to etch iron meteorites - it's not a very harmfull
acid. In Switzerland you can get it in every drugstore.

I think before we go on picking on Michael Blood's and Darryl's head we
should read very carefully what they wrote here on the list. Maybe it
had been better that Michael published his text on this list (instead of
the meteoritetimes). Maybe Darryl overreacted a bit but I can feel that
ere
is darkness as well.
I hope, despite the end of meteoritetimes, in one or the other way -
especially as a newcomer - to provit from the
enormeous knowledge and experience of the writers of meteoritetimes and
