G'day all,
Just a quick note to mention that I've added a bunch of meteorites to my

Hello Bernd List
I have seen some nice pieces of Tamdaght and i confirm the presence of a lot
of slickensides, confirming the high level of shock of this meteorite. That
could actually partially explain the fact that it was broken in many pieces
at 'landing', plus the fact that some of those

Thank You Ben--I don't disagree. Apparently it has already been resold but my

Hi Bernd, Elton, others,
I can confirm several chondrules visible on fragmented surfaces on the Tamdaght

rather more than less equilibrated chondrite.

Thanks for counting Greg. I count too. We all count. Unfortunately Cottingham
doesn't think anyone should count. He says he can't count. He keeps proving
that a 7 day week confuses him so we have to believe what he says if we have
any kindness in our hearts. Hey Michael! Do we count at all?
Hello,
Why don't you stop reposting my add over and over! I appreciate the
extra exposure, but that is enough ads this week. I think between you

than I care to do.

It sounds like you're counting now! Very good. You understand the concept of
twice. That's a good start. I thought you could'nt count at all. I'm always
happy to help. Maybe you should appoint one of us to count for you if you're
too distracted to keep track of all these silly rules.
Hi Elton all,
In my experience... you just never know what something might come back as.
Just think of the huge NWA EL3 find and all the classifications that went
through. There is hardly a chondrule to be seen in that meteorite... yet
it's a type-3!
There are a couple of others that I've

Hi,
I have mixed feelings on this.
I don't have any objections at all to the number of ads posted. Two or three

However, it's all those sales that are a bit problematic. 10 -20 or more

Get some rare earth magnets and a yard stick (or something similar). Tape,
wrap, or glue them on one end and you are done. I don't have any specific sites
to get the magnets, but a quick search on the net should bring up some good
sites.

Sounds like good advice - if I see any meteorites at Target's, I be sure to
wait for a sale.
There are also some higher end stores that will tell a customer to wait
because the item of interest is going on sale.

Hi Bob,
I agree, trying to outbid an automated program is an exercise in
futility. I learned that lesson while bidding on antique telescopes
on eBay. So, now when I bid on meteorites, I place my highest bid
first and then walk away. If I win or lose, I never pay more than
