Sorry for the confusion - this was a mail on the mailing list back to the new
Go Parts OMPI mirrors; there was a problem during their initial setup.

Sent from my phone. No type good.

Gotcha.

I'll temporarily remove the mirror from the list; let us know when it gets
updated and I'll re-enable it on the list.

Re: [Mirrors] Mirror Request

I got this message from our server admin:

We need the host to change it from
their end cause it's a VM and when I change it inside it loses the new
hostname and reverts to old one. I opened a ticket with them last night
about it and asked them to update it from their end.

So hopefully it gets resolved soon! :)

Hi Jeff,

both mirrors are deleted from the open mpi mirror site.
I think this is because our mirrors were not up2date (crontab problems).
Could you please readd
http://open-mpi.idnr.at (Austria)
and
http://open-mpi.idnr.ws (Denmark)
to the list of mirrors?

Another thing:
Could you please change the tagline of our three mirrors?
They are not maintained by ZdG GmbH anymore.
Please online set the tagline to "tim"

And one more thing:
I could also mirror from ukraine or/and Sweden.. Please let me know if its
interesting for you..

Subject: Open MPI mirror on your web site

Greetings. I notice that you are mirroring the Open MPI web site

here:

Many thanks!

It's a little misleading, though, because the mirror is labeled as
"LAM/MPI", not "Open MPI" (they are two different projects). Would
you mind adjusting your site to reflect that the name is Open MPI,
not

LAM/MPI?

Additionally, it would be great if you could officially register
with

the Open MPI project to be formally listed as one of our official
mirror sites. Here's the instructions:

Many thanks for mirroring our site!

Re: [Mirrors] Mirror at nextag

2008-09-30 Thread Jeff Squyres
Thanks for Mirroring us! Where are you physically located? I ask
because we organize our mirror list by location.

I've added you to the official site list, but your entry it not
publicly listed yet:

1. Send me your location so I know where to put it in the list.
2. Let's see an automatic update go by where your jolly roger flag
turns into a real flag (I guessed US for the moment; we can change it
later).

Subject: Open MPI mirror on your web site

Greetings. I notice that you are mirroring the Open MPI web site

here:

http://download.nextag.com/lam-mpi/

Many thanks!

It's a little misleading, though, because the mirror is labeled as
"LAM/MPI", not "Open MPI" (they are two different projects). Would
you mind adjusting your site to reflect that the name is Open MPI,
not

LAM/MPI?

Additionally, it would be great if you could officially register with
the Open MPI project to be formally listed as one of our official
mirror sites. Here's the instructions:

Many thanks for mirroring our site!

Re: [Mirrors] mirror

2008-03-24 Thread Jeff Squyres

Many thanks!

I have added your server to the official list but not yet made it
visible; let's wait to see your server go through an automated
update. If it succeeds, it should start displaying the US flag down
in the lower left corner (vs. the jolly roger).

Once that happens properly, I'll make your mirror visible in the
public list.

Hello,

I just mirror your site ftp at http://openmpi.site2nd.org

The server is located at USA Dallas (TX) with 100mb/s connection.

Just my little contribution. Hope my site will list at your site.

Thanks.

Just to check -- you sent this to the Open MPI mirror list, not the
LAM/MPI mirror list.

Would you be interested in running an Open MPI mirror? http://
