Dear colleagues,
A printer doesn't need internet access, and that is why I can block
the internet access. The printer on the white network a label printer
that just works. The other printer is a laser printer connected by USB
to an Ubuntu computer on the white network, because that was easier
Dear colleagues,
I have various network appliances that I don't really trust, like
a printer. I have these plugged into an unmanaged switch and
connected to network interface igc2.
I want to allow the igc1 network to make web requests to the igc2
network, and I want the igc2 network to have
Dear colleagues,
About 20 years ago I read in some OpenBSD documentation, likely the
installation instructions, that we want people to copy our OpenBSD even
if to use it even in proprietary products, because the alternative is
that incompetent people write their own software instead of copying
scripts) and want
to read reports only when something failed?
With great humility,

My great and good friends,
Like 20 years ago while trying to install OpenBSD
for the first time I read a short passage in OpenBSD
documentation that I really liked. Does anyone know
where I can find it?

My great and good friends,
This is just what I wanted. Now I will see if my company-issued

Are there services that sell managed OpenBSD shell accounts?
I mean a service similar to sdf.org.

I find this approach to be consistent with OpenBSD's virtuous
ignorance of fads.

This would make scanning so much easier
In case you prefer the complicated version,
$ pkg_add coreutils
$ alias timeout=gtimeout

Indeed I can start X with xenodm. Thanks!
I have an ATI Radeon HD8490. It seems to be recognized properly
in the dmesg. Also, I can view ttys from either of its two plugs.
Unfortunately, it is not recognized as a screen for X. The attached
Xorg.0.log is from when I run "startx".
This is on 6.5, and it has been like this since I
