Has there been a lot of work on this in the last two releases? I cannot provide further details at the moment but with 6.6 I was unable to use a Samsung 1TB USB3 HDD with the onboard USB 3 ports on my desktop and had to use USB 2.0 instead. The drive was not picked up in dmesg output at all.

I need a PCI card with USB 3 ports. Something like this is what I had in mind: https://amzn.to/2V8NgtT (SEDNA - PCI Express USB 3.1). Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding out if a particular card is supported, or a list of supported ones?
