5.5 odd issue with relayd flapping

FYI, 5.9 and 6.0 are the currently supported versions. You won't get much help here unless you upgrade. But you might get lucky and someone who had the exactly same problem reads your mail and decides to help you out. Cheers.

Yes, upgrading is on our to-do list. But it will be a few months before we can do that.

apu1d4 loosing network with 6.0-stable

I am loosing network connectivity since i installed 6.0-stable on my apu1d4. Previously with 5.9-stable i haven't noticed any issues. apu1d4 [1] has 3 nics re0 -> wan -> direct connected to nucleus connect -> fiber re1 -> wifi -> direct connected to access point re2 -> lan -> connected to

wallowed setting for /usr/local

It seems based on the release notes that this is part of the 6.0 install. I installed 5.9 just before the 6.0 release and then did an upgrade and do not see that modification made in /etc/fstab post upgrade. Expected? Brian

OK this is interesting, and the only thing I can think of is that it is a hardware issue that is starting to manifest itself in this odd way. This relates to my email earlier today about relayd. Because of the odd way we use relayd with "/usr/bin/false" as the "check", we decided to just run
