Maybe plug in a spare USB drive and format it for swap? Swap on CF is
rarely a good idea, especially if you swap often.

I am unable to get the four multimedia keys (Play/Pause, Volume
Decrement/Increment, Mute) on my old'ish USB Microsoft Wired Keyboard
