It might also be a bios setting issue. (Many BIOS have settings for which systems are enabled by the BIOS code) Try enabling "Legacy USB Support" or similar. OpenBSD's boot process is dependent upon the system BIOS until the kernel is loaded. So, if there is no attempt to boot, you have a BIOS issue. I've certainly seen this. The answer is a BIOS upgrade that probably doesn't exist, because many manufacturers barely test this feature. Nothing OpenBSD can do to fix it if the HW won't grab and run the boot code. Nick.
