Hi there,
I have a issue using ettercap (ettercap-0.7.3p4-no_x11 multi-purpose
sniffer/interceptor/logger) in 4.7-release

ettercap NG has a new unified sniffing method. This
implies that ip_forwarding in the kernel is always dis-
abled and the forwarding is done by ettercap. Every packet

I think that you do something wrong. I have OpenBSD 3.8-stable, and
recompiled ettercap with -r1.14
That's what I did:

You can take `patches/patch-configure' from -current and then edit
Makefile and bump pkgname and then recompile ettercap with `make update'
$ cd /usr/ports/net/ettercap
$ cvs up -r1.14 patches/patch-configure
$ vi Makefile # (_bump_ pkgname here)
$ make build

I've installed the port of ettercap. but when I try to use it I get this
erros:
Loading plugins... ettercap:./ec_triton.so: undefined symbol 'Host_In_LAN'
ettercap: ./ec_triton.so: can't resolve reference 'Host_In_LAN'
ettercap:./ec_triton.so: undefined symbol 'Options'

I wondering if someone could help me here!
Might be a better way in the archives, but...
edit ettercap/patches/patch-src_ec_plugins_c
change the inserted line to always be true, e.g.:
-#if defined(OPENBSD) || defined(MACOSX)
+#if 1
#define SYM_PREFIX _ // for the symbols loaded

hack, it's the wrong hack, but it does turn a
totally broken ettercap into a partially broken one. Last time I needed
ettercap I was in a hurry and found this got me by.

Hello
Is there somebody who has installed ettercap-0.6.b-no_x11.tgz package on
OpenBSD?
For me this package doesn't work at all since OpenBSD 3.4
