There are some devices that I'm setting up email alerts on using OpenSMTPd as
the outgoing server with SSL/TLS and auth only.
I'm able to send from normal mail clients but these devices seem to want to use
PIPELINING even though smtpd isn't advertising it.
I've looked at enabling this

The server is used primarily as a mail filtering relay, filtering with spamd;
however, it’s also used, on a more limited bases, to send outbound emails.

rspamd), I'm able to query rspamd's controller, access the web UI; smtpd is
processing and delivering mail as expected.
