I guess so, I know the doc says you can get back phase images, so I
guess i can just rewrite them back to complex k-space. I can't find them
now (I'm using the current release, must probably be able to do it
also), so I probably forgot to tick back the box. I'll give it a go next

in the current master, "output additional images" will also give you the
complex diffusion-weighted image (real and imaginary in separate images). You
could simply Fourier transform them to get the complex k-space image. Is that
what you need?
