Hi Stefan, Matt,

I tested on another vm and on a Mac Mini. You're right, it works perfectly. I
probably broke something. Shit happens. Thank you for taking the time to test.

Hi Stefan

Thank you for your answer. It's a simple 3D image which I can open on Windows
and Linux, nothing fancy. As I wrote, the problem is only on macOS [1], the
other OS are perfectly able to load an image. If someone can actually test on
macOS, it will confirm that I'm wrong/right.

I tried adding the --BlueBerry.clean flag and I have the same error. The only
other problem I can think of is that it's a VirtualBox VM. It usually breaks
the graphic a little, but not the behavior. I'll try finding a real mac to
test, it may be the cause of the problem.

Hi Nil,

in the current head of the beta branch, fresh build, I can open each and every
.nii.gz image in our MITK-Data repository (tested on Windows). Specializations
like peak images, SH images, or diffusion weighted images are recognized as
well and I can choose alternative readers for them. Also, all unit tests run
successfully on Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Best,

Seeing that I couldn't load a nii.gz image in my own app based on the

load nii.gz image. "No reader available for ... .nii.gz" Can someone

please confirm? It's kind of a big deal if true :)

Hi Nil,

I just downloaded that Mac image, and could successfully load a .nii and
.nii.gz and also went to the NifTI references images, and could load them as
well.

I’m on a 2018 MBP, on 10.13.6 (High Sierra).

[mitk-users] MITK 2018.04 beta installers available

2018-08-10 Thread Dinkelacker, Stefan
Dear MITK developers,

we are happy to finally announce the release of the MITK 2018.04 beta
installers. We're looking forward for any feedback and bug reports to improve
the final release as much as possible.

http://mitk.org/download/releases/MITK-2018.04-beta/

*For now* there's no news on the homepage, no compiled list of new features and
resolved bugs, and no compiled migration guide. However, please feel free to
have a look at our release workboard at
https://phabricator.mitk.org/project/view/63/. In particular, to get an idea of
the new features and API changes, have a look at
https://phabricator.mitk.org/T24333 (Noteworthy new features since MITK
2016.11).

The installers should be compatible with:

Windows 7+
Ubuntu 16.04+
macOS HighSierra

Please note that we had a last minute upgrade to Qt 5.11.1. The rendering
backend uses more modern OpenGL and MITK won't run on very old machines
anymore. 99% of you shouldn't be affected by this but, for example, I had to
explicitly enable the Nvidia chip for the MITK Workbench in a 2012 notebook
that has combined Intel+Nvidia graphics.

Have a nice weekend,
Stefan
