It would be good to address the issue of missing files while doing this:
currently, if you try to load a library entry whose file is missing,
there's no feedback saying that's the case. I've been bitten by this a
number of times myself, stupidly waiting for the waveform to display and
it never does
Good feedback might be to change the color of the text in the browser to
red to indicate failure. If they right click, maybe a bunch of grayed
out options and then "Unsupported File" somewhere.
For dragged-and-dropped files of known-ungood type, perhaps changing the
cursor to an X when they try t
Where would be the best place to do this? During the library scan
perhaps and/or if they drag and drop a song on?
I think we filter on the open dialogs to only support types.
