I,ve installed Avlinux and latency is fantastic. I can run mixxx 1.10 on my bcd3000 at 2.9ms without dropouts! On an aging atom netbook! Avlinux is actually a really nice distribution, it seems to have just about every decent Linux audio app already installed. I'm a happy camper! On May 31, 2012

Last time I checked there was some development that needing doing in the kernel to fix some problems with the real time system. Not sure if this has been resolved yet. It's worth remembering that the rt kernel has some problems with proprietary drivers such as the nvidia graphics driver as they ta
