Hi
Is it in general possible to convert high detailed Height- Lines to a garmin
Map ?
High Detailed means Lines with 1m distance in height.
I tried but my Lines look useless because they look cross-connected
So how to generate such contour lines ?

Hi WanMil,
Thanks so much for the fix.
I have tried it so far on 2 style files and it works great. I can now also
run the splitter overlap very high to allow for long distances between nodes
and it still works. I even tried 5 and it works.
It even fixed the mutltiple border names. Normally

Hi WanMil,
Thanks so much for the fix.
I have tried it so far
Sounds like a good idea to add the mkgmap:styleusage=line and
mkgmap:styleusage=polygon.
I also like charlies ideas. Not adding linear tags to the created polygons,
as these should only be lines anyway. But an extra tag added also would
allow filtering in the style if any liner ways are missed
Sorry about the unfinished message.

Hi WanMil,
A question on boundary tags?
I have lately been using the great maps from openmtbmap.org and the national
parks that don't need a multipolygon appear, but the national parks that do
need a multipolygon don't appear. I assume this is because of the
boundary=national_park tag in the
.
There was a small one replacing .indexOf() with .lastIndexOf()
somewhere.
Now the --output-dir for mkgmap would be the last one. This is
the only on that hasn't been integrated by now (to my
knowledge).

Did you include the --process-boundary-relations switch in your mkgmap bat

I believe this is needed to process multypolygons.

Hi Markus,
I think this problem arises due to a mixture of an mkgmap bug in the
multipolygon processing and the broad mixture of how multipolygons are
tagged. Some mps are tagged only in the mps, some do have the same tags
in the mp and on their ways, some have tags in the mp and only some

Hi list,
this might not be the most elegant method, however I'd call it the
pragmatic way to refer to source *.osm.gz files in other directories by
using template.args.
