I am looking for a secure web based file sharing solution. I don't want to
develop a home grown solution as there are many very good packages already
out there. I've done some research but wondered if anyone on the list has
had experience with this kind of thing??? I need
should have nothing to do with individual user logging in but with
services started on system startup , use chkconfig network to see if
it auto starts /make it autostart you may have inadvertently changed
it.

Actually /bin/sh depends on the distro / implementation. On most it
is a link to the intended dominant shell. On Ubuntu - dash on debian
