Another way to read the long messages: 1. Take your curser to the starting of the long message. 2. Press Key1 and select the option Message submenu. 3. Select the option Copy from the menu. Now the message has been copied to the clipboard. 4. Open the messaging application press Key1 and select the option Editing submenu. 5. Select the option Paste from the menu. The message has been pasted into your messaging application. Now you can read the message with Up, Down, Left and Right arrow keys. Note that the trick is good for reading a single message not a complete chat if one desires to. @Payal: I checked on my phone and found that It's behaving weird - it reads contact info of the selected contact from the chat list while it doesn't do so for the selected contact from the Favourites list. This too is not certain. Thanks for the mention so that I could discover this. http://www.kontalk.org/ What is Kontalk Kontalk is an effort to write an instant messaging system - primarly designed for embedded devices, especially smartphones. Though currently there is only an Android Client, it aims to be cross-platform compatible. iOS, Symbian and even a desktop client will be developed (developers wanted!). The network *Kontalk is not owned by anyone*. The network is run by the community for the community. The network of servers can virtually be expanded to an infinite number. You can also set up your own server! We believe communication is a human right. Therefore, anyone on the planet should be able to connect freely and for free. Kontalk is designed to be free and to remain as such *forever*. Distributed network The Kontalk network can continue running even if just one of the servers is up. The network itself is designed to not allow any single point of failure and it protects itself from broken servers. Security All data exchanged inside the Kontalk network is *encrypted*, and user IDs are always hashed, so that even the server owners cannot retrieve the phone number of a user. Web of Trust The Kontalk network of servers is public: anyone can join with their own server. A server is untrusted at the beginning. By means of a voting system - based on strong asymmetric encryption - and by working actively in the network, it can become a trusted server and get more privileges.
