Hi sir,

That is total bullshit from Google and Micromax giving a device such a low 
space which is set to receive OS updates for at least two years. I’ve even 
tried with a 16GB SD card and formatting it as “Internal storage” for moving 
apps but to no avail. However, there are a few apps (not default) which still 
can be moved to SD card. For the moment, I’ve disabled those apps which I don’t 
need on that phone such as Google Photos, Google+, Hangouts, and few others and 
had definitely saved some space. Please note that when you disable an app, it 
also removes its updates and reduces its size in just KBs.

My android MM is not letting me move apps to SD card.
With 2 GB ram I can install only about a dozen oa apps including pre installed

That wouldn't let you move any apps to SD card. Try using something
like C cleaner or Clean master to clean hidden junk files. If it
doesn't work then the last thing is to restore it to factory settings.

it will make easy to help you share some information about your phone and 
android version.

by the way i guess you have customise android.
in this case it may possible that your phone do not support with that feature.
if i am right then it is not possible.
once you try with clean master.

If you will do that,
your data also may delete.
Just go to settings,
then storage and tab on cash.
And then move your all data like music images vedio in sd card.
Delete all whatsapp voice messages folder also and enjoy.
