Hi Swarna,

I am making use of siri quite well enough, though not so much for
dictation. I do mostly use it for tasks like setting reminder, opening
apps, setting the timmer etc.
I notice the following edxceptions though with Siri:
1. It does not make calls in India.
2. It does not work with GPS.
3. it seams it does not work well with the default headset provided
with the phone.
Thanks,

2015-12-15 Thread Prashant Ranjan Verma
I bought 6s when it was just launched. The price of iPhone 6s 16 GB in the
stores was 62 k whereas Amazon was selling it at 56,000.
The price of all items in the stores is higher as compared to these online
portals.
I believe the stores need to cover the cost of maintaining their big
showrooms and need their commission/profit.
I have asked the stores about this and they admit that now no one can mathch
the online prices for any item.

I bought 6s from Amazon and saved 6000. I have no complains.

Though the price difference between online store and apple store is nearly
6,000 rupees, still I would recommend to buy from official apple store. As
there is no guarantee that you would get fresh device through online store.
As online store, be it flipkart or amazon, both have 30 days replace/return
policy, it has been observed and reported by the customers that they are
getting the devices already used, though not for long time but it is sure
they got a used device.
Even in my case (not the mobile), but several times I got electronic devices
those were not seal packed, looked already used and not packed well.
Therefore don't compromise for few bucks.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Wanting to buy Iphone 6

2015-12-14 Thread sagar sagar
Hey Mohib.
The six and the 6S have few differences first the processor both of the
devices are running 64-bit architecture. 6 is running A8 ChipSet64Bit.
6s A9 littil faster than previous. 64-bit architecture same platform.
The camera is improved on the iPhone 6s 12 megapixel back camera front five
megapixel.
2 GB RAM on the iPhone 6s.
Second-generation touch ID. On the iPhone 6s.
3-D touch iPhone 6s.
IPhone 6 1 GB RAM eight megapixel camera 1.2 megapixel front camera.
The rest is same The design is same. Aluminium is improved on the iPhone 6s.
Basically the latest is the greatest however being said, if you can afford it,
it's well and good otherwise, go for the more memory with the iPhone 6.
Hope that helps.

2015-12-14 Thread Harbhajan
hi if you want to store a lot of stuff then go for 6 64 gb otherwise 6s is the
best choice. i also don't see any point in not buying from online stores, as
there is apple care to give a replacement if anything goes rong. however its
based on my personal experience and what ever phone i got it was nicely packed
and untouched

I would vote for 6S, because:
1. It is the latest
2. It does have better front glass than 6.
3. More features like 3D Touch etc.

If I have two choices, namely; iPhone 6, 64GB and 6S 16GB. Which one
should I buy? Because priceVise both are at the same footing. So I
wanat to know the basis difference between 6 and 6S.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Wanting to buy Iphone 6

2015-12-14 Thread Payal Kapoor
hi Swarna,
I think you should go for it. i got the same phone in end September
for 55,000. so price wise it seems to have reached a good place.
Performance wise, it is wonderful. it will take a little time to get
used to the touch screen if you are using it for the first time. but,
there are a lot of people who can help you with this.
So, as far as i can see, there is every reason you should buy this phone.
