If you use moinmoin = 1.8.2 (i.e Jaunty or Karmic), make sure you
install the package fckeditor as it is merely suggested in Ubuntu.
Well, installing the package is not enough: you have also to link it
in the right place!
For example (on a standard Janty) I do:
sudo rm -r
No, I've already tried the fix :

from MoinMoin.web.session import FileSessionService
session_service = FileSessionService()
but it didn't work...
From my point of view, this problems is different. The authentication

I'm ready to file a bug if you wish (or are unable to reproduce the problem).

Hi, I've filed the bug on

About the last questions:
- the problem exists also on Firefox, and also from the server itself.
- I cleaned up all the cookies on the client before any testing.
I'll post my configuration on the bug page,
Hi to all.
I've just fineshed to write a brand new HowTo : A quick guide for
setting up a first wiki on Ubuntu (see
http://moinmo.in/HowTo/UbuntuQuick ). It's as simple and quick as
possible: in few minutes, someone will be ready to enjoy and play with
a working MoinMoin wiki.
It's a newbie
Moin to all.
I've just finished to write a brand new HowTo: A wikifarm example with
basic features
(see http://moinmo.in/HowTo/UbuntuFarm ) - based on MoinMoin 1.9.1
and Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala.
It's a middle-level tutorial; does not contain anything more than the
official docs. I hope it will
Hello,
I have to edit the login macro form in order to add some
simple instructions, i.e. to use the usual Windows ActiveDirectory
name as in
LastnameFirstname. Can someone kindly help me?
(I'm using 1.9.2 version, and LDAP auth).
thank you,
Nico.
Hi Derek,
I've just installed the Lucid beta 1 on a VirtualBox environment, and
it works as expected. Are you sure that you have really succeeded in
creating the user? As I wrote in the HowTo:
Be careful to obtain a User account created! You can use this account

Welcome!
I think you've changed the proposed user group (www-data) in the
Apache configuration with your own use www-data and it must
work.
BTW: maybe I should modify or delete the line:
# create some wsgi daemons - use user/group same as your data_dir:
because it is unnecessary in a

Hello,
I've just upgraded from 1.9.5 to the latest 1.9.6 and I'm getting a 500
Internal Server error on every requests. In moin.log I can see these errors:
ERROR 2013-02-07 11:46:54,286 MoinMoin.wsgiapp:293 An exception has
occurred [my_internal_link_omitted].
Traceback (most recent call last):
The command history confirm that I've done a moin ... maint cleancache and
even a reboot without success. Then I've re-applied the default file rights
and it worked.
But maybe the error was just cached in the browser...
