The Spread license is very similar to the Apache 1.1 license, which can
be summarized as BSD + advertising
what about transactions .. dbus is not able to deal wiath as i know, spread do.
however the license is quite not free ! see at :

just one basic compenent is free but im not sure it is able to do all the things ...
