This shop has now closed I believe. Concur with the sentiment about
pricing - I have lived in London all my life yet have never bought a
poster from a shop here. Mind you, London is one of the most expensive

Nick Berg, my partner, is still alive and well

I was referring to the shop that used to be in Cecil Court, just off St
Martin's Lane. I thought that was the one that Franc was referring
to. The fact that I can't remember what the shop was called isn't
helping!

Glad to hear that the information that was passed to me was wrong.. Part of
it was an assumption on my part that he had closed the shop, when I was told
that he sold his posters out.
Shelly, please tell Nick hi, for me. I havent heard from him in a while.
Did Nick close the café or is it
I think there may have been some confusion when the 'bricks and mortar' gallery
closed. The poster business remains very much ALIVE outside that venue though.
I know there are plenty of dealers on group here who have had shops and
galleries close over the last 10 years or more, but still
Welcome to Londo where you get happily ripped off

Hello Mopo Land
at present there are three galleries in London, Reel Poster, Tim Maddison's and
one on the King's road.
Cineart is no longer there, sorry. We had a good stab at it but thigs went awry
with business.
Thgere are plenty of dealers but I will only speak for myself.
London was always an expensive city. I used to go back and forth on
business to London every month or so (which is a nice way of saying that
I was on an expense report) and the hotels and dining were extremely
expensive even when the dollar was strong. I can't imagine what's it's
like now having

Couldn't be better written. It's exactly how I feel right now. We saw this

Just a friendly notice that all my cool No Reserve/Cheap starting bids
auctions are up now.
If you collect Sci-fi/Horror/Bogart/Hitchcock you definitely need to check
them out, and even if you collect other stuff they are probably worth
looking at:
Psycho 1-sheet
and this refers to what? it's certainly off topic and simply---off.
