The kids in To Kill a Mockingbird are on their way to a Halloween play
when they are attacked...Scout is dressed as a ham...in a really scary
scene in the climax of this classic film.
And, of course, there's Donnie Darko, where the entire film revolves
around an evil character in a Halloween
How about Picnic?
Didn't they mention that Kim Novak will be crowned at the picnic as the
Queen of Neewollah, was they explained was Halloween spelled backwards?

MEET ME IN SAINT LOUIS
you know the charming scene when the kids are rallied around an unsupervised
bonfire and darling little Margaret O'Brien throws wet flour when she rings
neigbor's doors..I'm not kidding!
UNDER THE VOLCANO
One of the great John Huston films, of
Ordinary People (1980, Paramount) When Mary Tyler Moore answers the door and
gives the kid's carmel apples.

Okay, so this is a little obscure, and may not be eligible due to
small-screen, but in 1978's CBS TV-Movie Adaptation of Erma Bombeck's The
Grass Is
Always Greener Over The Septic Tank, Charles Grodin and Carol Burnett find
themselves running out of Halloween candy and resort to taking some

I was surfing some business sites and I stumbled on a graph that seems to
show the cause of eBay's major stock decrease this year. Why this hasn't
received more play in the mainstream press is beyond me!
