WARNING WILL ROBINSON!...
I posted this as a joke and to inform people that there is an auction
site out that which has decided to makes its money from the bidders, not
the sellers -- but do NOT actually *sign up* for this swoopo.com site.
It's an incredible scam and rip-off operation. Worse,
I've known about this site for some time as well as others

OK, I just had to pass it on... this is clearly the wave of the future
for online auctions which Bruce and Rich need to catch:
Swoopo.com conducts auctions for a wide variety of consumer products where the
winning bid typically tops out at a small fraction of the retail price...

That sounds like a fair offer for someone who is a dealer and buying to
re-sell. The next one might only go for $300 or less or may go $500 or more. I
am sure Bruce would take one on consignment as well and if I had 5, I would
keep one, consign one, and hold Bruce to the $30

I'm going to suggest you avoid vacations in the future. You are a

Hi Folks,
My 15 year old daughter is a fan of the book Percy Jackson: The Lightning
Thief. She is all hyped about the upcoming movie based on it. I was wondering
if anyone out there had anything on this film yet available for sale. Please
let me know what you have and your price including sh
But, but, but...
You do realize that $150 is closer to $20 than to $486.
You seem to be suggesting that this bidder paid more than 3 times what this
poster was worth.

Forget the idea that this was a $20 poster!
I think this is one of the coolest posters ever. If someone out there has
one in nice shape they will sell for $150, I will take it.
And to prove how great I think it is, I will pay $300 for three of them, if
they are out there!

On Fri, Aug 14,
Ah, very sad. In a strange coincidence, I received THE HARVEY GIRLS on DVD
from Netflix on Saturday, the day she died - and I rented it solely because
I wanted to see her in it (I so admired her precocious performance in THREE
ON A MATCH, I sought out her other bit performances to view).

Disney's silent star Virginia Davis died on Saturday. I had the
pleasure of speaking to her a few times. She was a very nice woman.

Alan, I frankly think the whole "can't be any folded originals" is utter
nonsense let loose on the world by that David Lynch poster site. I've had at
least one with rock solid credentials that was rolled (thick letter type). The
thin letter type available from David Lynch.com were rolled, and
I would be reasonably cautious about any unfolded copies. We got
several of these
over time from sources -- all of whom had access to the non-theatrical
distributors
and who played ERASERHEAD originally -- mostly at colleges' and
universities' film programs -- and all were folded.

Apparently there are a few different styles from different runs.
Basically these posters were made on the photocopier as the release
was most uncertain. I have one myself and I got a lot of info from the
David Lynch website. I believe it was www.davidlynch.com. I'm not sure
if it it still r
Hi -
I have an Eraserhead poster - Libra films release.
I got it from a crew member on the film -
but am not sure if it is the real McCoy or not -
It has line across forehead which denotes a second printing -
but it is rolled and not folded -
And my understanding is that all original Eraserheads
