I have no doubt that dream would be another NIGHTMARE...
I can't see anything wrong with reproductions, as long as they are clearly
identified as such (and listed in the appropriate category). What eBay does
with coins now is banning ANY kind of reproduction, including those clearly

I'd bet it's after Peellaert, nice though it is.
His style was airbrush/photo-realistic, that's rendered with pretty
loose brushwork.
Don't know who has the means to buy this kind of format to display.
Much as I like the large stuff, if I bought something of this size, it

Yes I really like it too, maybe If I was in charge of a Taxi depot in NY I'd
get the drivers to club together and have it put up where everyone who worked
there could see it. Would of worked really well as backdrop to the main depot
area in the TV series Taxi, where everyone used to chat.
Richard and Simon,
I agree with you both. I have size problems even with the 6sh that I love,
but there is no point to keep them folded in a closet.
A 24sh like that would be perfect for a public place in New York...let's
see what happens...

FYI. PayPal is supposed to start issuing 1099 this year for the tax year

to find that the instructions posted by PayPal both for retrieving your 1099

I had some conversations with Paolo about this great poster. I don't think
it's Pellaert art either,
but rather the work of another artist who was trying to keep in the same vein
so to speak. Still,
it's an impressive artifact of a great film. Whether ebay is the venue to
attract a buyer is
I absolutely know that when my girlfriend and I saw Taxi Driver in
1977 that the theatre in NYC had a huge billboard displayed

Don't mind the artwork at all, or it being a slight variation on the
usual.
And associate that style of loose brushwork particularly with Italian
posters, Ercole Brini etc.
I had completely forgotten I have a humungous French billboard for
Pickpocket, great art for that scale with CU of
I have a 30sheet for King Kong 1976

probably better for a piece of this nature
I also have an Escape From NY smaller billboard piece that must be
only maybe 12 feet long. it is also rolled and if I recall correctly

I have a nice Terminator 2 24sh, the artwork is pretty good.
Also I have a Fritz Lang M 12sh but I'm missing 2 pieces out of 6, on the
corners...and this thing really piss me off because the missing parts
should not have much artwork on them...problem is: I have no idea how the
poster looks like

Yes, it is, there is just one Italian release, but it's from the late 50s'
(or maybe 1960): the movie has been banned for years..

Hi Paolo,
I'd love to see a picture of the Italian M. I adore that film and all the
paper associated with it!
I'm jealous.

Hi,
We're looking for interesting NON-movie posters with golf images
(movie posters also but ONLY IF they're rare/early - we're not
looking for Caddyshack, The Caddy, etc).
Thanks.
