This is what you wrote
I do have a different selling question aside from satisfying cheapskates
who want their parcels packaged like gold but are not willing to pay
anything for this service. At the end of October, Ebay will no longer
allow a seller to indicate in their posting or in Ebay e-mail that a
buyer may pay
Also I have my own program that launches invoices and e-mail to buyers
after an auction is completed. Does Ebay's new payment rule negate me from
requesting a check or money order within the invoices and e-mails generated by
my
own program?
excellent question!!

I'm thinking about going to all Free Shipping in my EBAY listings.
I'm tired of fighting with them about my various Powerseller rankings
so I think they may have won the battle on this. Anyone have any
thoughts about this?

That's great Evan. Where did you pull that $8 figure from? I charge $9 and I
usually wind up having to add $1 to $2 per shipment given the cost of insurance
and that doesn't take into account the amount I pay for mailers or extra

Evan's reply is illogical when he states that he does not factor the cost of

he must only bid on very expensive posters but I doubt that because as an

Thanks, Mr. Spock, for adressing the logic of my argument.
At first you shoot it down, and then you reiterate it! The only issue is the
definition of expensive. Since the cost is fixed (about $10) and not
dependent on the cost of the item -- the cost becomes insignificant as the

They can only be sent flat, and they DO cost around $120 to send well
