Steve and others,
Its obvious that this system is strictly for
STORAGE, and very inadequate for DISPLAY. But I always wondered, how do
you find a specific poster under this system of storage, and especially, how do
you pull one out, not to mention several, to show it to a fried?(I know,
Hello Gang,
I had sent out a request a few days ago about the value of
the 1928 half sheet from The Shopworn Angel with Nancy Carroll
and Gary Cooper. I have been searching on my own, but have not found any
information about this item on the internet in terms of pricing and little else
The insert we have I would sell for $2750. It's a little worn but beautiful. Paperbacked we would sell for$3000. So maybe the half sheet would be similar?Kirby McDanielwww.movieart.netOn Nov 14, 2006, at 12:37 PM, Invergo, Marc K wrote:Hello Gang, I had sent out a request a few days ago about

Marc,
Poster Price.com shows the Insert as being at
$660-700. That was back in 1992/3.
WC asking for $325 in 1999, and only $94
oneBay in 2000.
Bottom line? very inconclusive and not exactly a
HS, but somewhere in that range lies your poster.Doing the math plus
common sensewould be

Todd,
A couple of corrections:
The $9.99 item on eBay is for a VHS
The other eBay item is on auction at Heritage, and
estimated at $800-1200, BUT, its for the 1938 remake. Marc was asking for
the 1928 version.
