Bill Tefft saw a Snowy Owl in Aitkin County yesterday (December 28)
along Highway 169/210 northeast of Aitkin. It was on hay bales on
the east side of the road, about 1.5 miles south of County Roads
54/56 (390th St.). It looks like a heavily marked bird.

I agree with all of this, and RE recent post about a person who made a trip
to a campus and was watching birds on commons. Birders usually wear
un-colorful, almost camo clothing, carry 'interesting' equipment...
We went to Colorado Springs over Christmas, driving 1/2 of the 16-hr trip on
2-lane

This is my first post to the listserv. A post was made requesting if anyone
had seen the snowy owl at the airport. I saw a snowy owl at the airport on
December 19th in the early afternoon around the Fed Ex area. I was able to
get a few photos of the back of its head (it didn't turn around for
12 matches
