Townsend's Solitaire, Ann Lake/Sand Dunes Park this morning - just off the
parking lot one mile east of Sherburne CR 9 - in the tall deciduous trees to
the right (west) of the lot after you park - very jittery, flew down when I
came within 100 yards.

Trail (such as Mobile Bay, Dauphin Island, etc.). If so, could you please

I just posted a photo of an Evening Grosbeak on the website's 'showcase'
section, only to find that I forgot to indicate species or county. So it now
says null in Ramsey County instead of Evening Grosbeak in St. Louis County.

Swans on Country 28 between 4th St SE in Austin and the railroad tracks to the
east. They were sitting in an old corn field on the north side of the road.

A first-cycle Iceland Gull and two Glaucous Gulls were among the flock
of Herring Gulls at Kendall's Smoke House in Knife River, Lake County,
this afternoon. Based on plumage, the Iceland Gull appeared to be the
same individual seen earlier in the month at Canal Park and 27th Ave
West in

February 16th out guiding Curlews from Florida and McGreary's of Georgia.
Highlights:
- Black-backed Woodpeckers ( 2 females ) on the McDavitt Rd in Sax Zim Bog.
- American Three-toed Woodpecker ( female ) 3 tenths of a mile south of the
woodpecker area on McDavitt Rd. Look for a blow
I saw a N. Hawk Owl today at 4:30 about two miles north of Cromwell
on Hwy 73, Carlton County. The bird was in a tree on the west side of
the road about 2/10th of a mile north of the mile 27 marker.

2/20/09 There were 2 Northern Harriers there today along with a Red
Tail Hawk. There is also a dead Red Tail there if anyone is interested.
2/19/09 at Crosby Farm Park in St Paul there were at least 10 Bald
Eagles (including 2 juveniles) there and around Pike Island. Also seen
were 2
