Saw the Varied Thrush (very briefly) near Sherburne NWR on Friday afternoon,
missed the Townsend's Solitaire at Ann Lake.
Saw the Black-headed Grosbeak in Duluth yesterday (life bird for both of
us) - missed the Spotted Towhee near Bruno. Enjoyed Great Black-Backed,
Iceland and two Thayer's
Refound at Leif Erickson Park at 1:00 PM 1/3/2010 in flock of 632 Common
Goldeneyes.

A change has been made on the MOU web site to correct the spelling of one of
the counties. The site has provided a drop-down box for sightings that has Lac
qui Parle county spelled with a capital Q (Lac Qui Parle). After some research
into the correct spelling of this county's name, all

Barrow's Goldeneye in the Mississippi R. from Prescott, WI. It was in
both WI and MN waters, out from the marina/apartment complex in town.
