Thanks Dennis for the follow-up. I just realized my directions to Bob
Williams were not too specific. The west entrance you want is the one to the
play area, which comes off Bush Lake road just south of the junction of East
Bush Lake road and West Bush Lake road. Coming from the south, it is the
I just realized that no one has posted a follow-up to the earlier message
about the second state record Common Ground Dove being found in Hyland Park
late this afternoon.
Some 30-40 birders were able to get there to see the bird before it appeared
to go into the woods to roost for the night.
Birds and Beers will be held at 6pm on Thursday evening, 10/21/2010 at Merlin's

carpool buddy, ask about where to find target birds,
Spoke to Warren Nelson tonight about the Ground

he is.

The sub-adult Long-tailed Jaeger has been seen all morning from parking lot #1
at the base of Wisconsin Point. Shortly after noon, Jim Lind and I saw a
juvenile Pomarine and a sub-adult Parasitic. All 3 species were
well-photographed again today. A Red-throated Loon, Franklin's Gull, Thayer's
