I was able to find at least 10 of the Buff-breasted Sandpipers around 6pm
tonight along with several other species of shorebirds. A very strong
northwest wind made the viewing quite difficult. The Buff-breasted Sandpipers
were on the northern end of the berm between the two ponds. There was
Bob Williams and I had a brief but definitive look at an apparent adult
Prairie Falcon in Todd Twp. west of Park Rapids around 9:20 this morning.
The bird was flying low over a pasture on the east side of 109th. Ave.
about a quarter mile north of 190th St. We lost the bird as it flew over
the tree
Calling back and forth to their young?

The Groveland website does not have Happy Hour info, so I just called them.
Happy Hour ends at 5:30 pm every day and starts again at 10:00pm. He
mentioned $3-4.00 pints and 1/2 appetizers. For those who want to save some
money and talk birds also, you could get there before 5:30 if you
