there were a lot of us looking for the Ruff on Tuesday.
As far as I know, no one found it.

Kevin Smith just phoned to say that while doing a bird survey for Whitetail
Woods Regional Park in Dakota County he found a Western Tanager. It was
near the camper cabins.

The bird that Kevin Smith found at Whitetail Woods Regional Pk this morning
was a W. Kingbird, not W. Tanager.
It flew while he was viewing it and it has not yet been refound.

My wife Joann Pfeiffer walked the trail in Snail Lake Regional Park this
morning between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. Just south of Gramsie Road, east of
Mackubin Road, where a tunnel under Gramsie opens up to a view south of Grass
Lake, she saw a Bobolink in an area where prairie is being
Andy Nyhus is reporting a Red-necked Grebe at the gravel pit ponds
northeast of Luverne in Rock County. He found the bird around 10:00 this
morning out in the middle of the southernmost pond. Also, there is a
blue-phase Snow Goose in the north pond.
While Red-necked Grebes aren't necessarily rare
