My serious birder parents are coming to visit. All they want for Christmas is
a snowy owl sighting. Has anyone seen one recently? We are ready for a road
trip anywhere in MN. Thanks.

At about 10:45 am today, at 9th Street and 2nd avenue, 15 stories up. I
saw a hawk take a Pigeon, then fly it up to another tower, 21 stories up
across from me, where it has spend the last half hour eating it. I can
see the feathers of the Pigeon floating down. The hawk looks like a
Peregrine
I would appreciate any info on the Varied Thrush at the Oakland Cemetery. I
would like to see that bird this weekend if it is still present.
