Today as dusk was nearing I found a Northern Mockingbird at the Grey Cloud
Dunes in Cottage Grove. Seen at these exact coordinates: Lat 44.7996 Long
-92.9630.
With the rain tonight, maybe it will stick around for at least another day. If
you do try for it, park in the North parking lot
There were respectable numbers of shorebirds present in Redwood county today.
15 Avocets, nearly 300 American Golden Plovers, over 200 Dowitchers, a single
Willet plus others.
There is plenty of standing water around, but the following areas produced the
most shorebirds:

A Black-crowned Night-Heron was seen along the section of Nine Mile Creek that
parallels Gleason Avenue in Bredesen Park, Edina, Minnesota on April 25th, 2018

Latest addition to the yard list: Common Loon (yesterday) on our small lake
which is only only four or five feet deep at the most. Today's (Monday)
sightings: Great Crested Flycatcher and a green darner dragon fly.
