There was a miscommunication in the text. The BTBW was correct ( and I believe
3rd county record) ,but Blackpoll and Mourning were his 44th and 50th bird of
the day.
I thought the counts were high also, but we had a big push last night and I
thought it vaguely possibly.
Sorry.
Thank you,
Kris
BTBW reported by friend and ornithologist in southern Pine County this
morning at a private residence. The bird was not re-found as of 1pm.
He also counted at least 44 Blackpoll Warblers and 50 Mourning Warblers as
of 10am on his big yard day.

A nice hybrid found west of the Hwy 61 bridge in Pine City. "Best" viewing
from Voyageurs Park close to the bridge, although it's a long ways to where
it was hanging out.
Photos on Minnesota Birding on Facebook and on eBird.
Enjoy,

There is a pic in my eBird checklist. Notice the prominent bulb on the nose.

This is a domestic. It's been around since Thanksgiving Day. Bulb on nose
gives it away.

Doing scouting for new observation platform and found 2 Ross' Geese and a
Willet.
Seen from north side. Park in Cul-de-sac and walk south to fence. There is a
high spot along fence that you can scope from. You'll need waterproof shoes.
