On August 1st and 2nd I observed a Neotropic Cormorant at the Bolson Slough (aka Bolland's) rookery in southwest Lac Qui Parle County. This slough is located at the junction of CR12 and CR9 in section 36 of Mehurin Township and is bordered by the Bolson Slough WPA and the Sweetwater WMA. The

At 1:20 PM today, at Diamond Lake (IN MINNEAPOLIS, NOT NEAR RODGERS). This lake is in S Mpls, at the SW corner of 54th and Portland. Park on the north side of the lake at Pearl Park and cross 54th to view the lake. The bird was with about 2 dozen Double-crested Cormorants, which made for a nice

I apologize for the poor quality of these. The light and shooting distance were horrible, but they were the best I could do At least they are diagnostic. These were taken from 3:15-4:11pm, Wednesday, May 9, 2007. The bird took flight with the most of the flock at 4:11pm.
