Recently a Cooper's hawk has been dining on birds at my feeders, yesterday I
found just the head of the Cooper's hawk, no plucked feather pile. What is the
most likely predator that can take a Cooper's hawk, Barred Owl? fox? I live in
Mpls near the Mississippi.

A telephone wire can also take a COHA. Maybe that's what happened and some
lucky predator came along and took advantage. Did you find any feathers
nearby?
