That occurred roughly two hours ago. The last update I have was from an hour

Good luck!

I was able to find the Tufted Duck right along the shore right next to the
aquarium (with the Goldeneyes). Had views from the road on the NE side and also
from the pagoda like structure from the SW. The latter is the better view.
Bird seen about 9:30.

I am currently observing the Tufted Duck in shipping lane at Canal Park.
The duck is among the large raft of common goldeneyes under the Ariel Lift

Sometime in the next few days I am going to take another run for the

Sunday morning (north in the lagoon?), (SE on the river?), and if
folks are seeing it moving from point A to point B. Are there any
patterns of movement? The

The TUDU has been observed by many this morning at the Wacouta location. The
views are
distant, and the bird was diving frequently, giving satisfactory looks only.
Not as amazing as
some of the closer photos taken. A scope is absolutely essential. And
midday or afternoon.
Good luck and don't wait until Thursday when the weather gets snowy and colder.

As a birder who's also been raising ducks on and off since the late

specialty item, likely acquired via auction. Also, anyone who owns
such a specimen would likely clip its wings. One isn't going to
